About Norton Flower Fund
The Norton Flower Fund is a volunteer group whose work includes sweeping and cleaning sidewalks, providing street furniture, replacing soils, planting, fertilizing, weeding park areas, deadheading, and watering planters in 30 locations. The group also helps with the Christmas events and other seasonal decor. “We believe our work helps to put a positive spin on locations around the community,” said Rose Garrison.
MatchDay Fundraising Project
Name of Project/Initiative: Beautification of Public Areas
Fundraising Goal: $2,500
Project Description: Funds raised during Match Day will help support the group's work for another year. This includes the planting of flowers and trees, signage, window displays, etc.
How the project will benefit Norton County
“Without the volunteers who invest their time and the funds so generously given by donors, our community would lose the vitality and enhancement that so many enjoy through the flowers, window displays, parks, etc. in Norton,” said Rose Garrison, Lead Volunteer.
