Donation Information

  • The 2020 match pool will be $20,000 and is provided by Norton County Community Foundation.

  • The match pool will be divided in proportion to the total amount raised on July 29, 2020. For example, if $50,000 is raised and ABC Organization brought in 20% of the total donations, ABC Organization would receive 20% of the match pool, or $4,000.

  • Donations up to a maximum of $2,000 per organization per person will be matched. However, we will gladly accept donations greater than $2,000.

  • No organization will receive more than $10,000, or half of the $20,000 match pool.

  • Donations made to the organizations can be used for immediate needs or invested into the endowed fund. Matching dollars will go to the organization’s endowed fund held at the Norton County Community Foundation.

  • Donations are irrevocable. Checks must be made out to Norton County Community Foundation with the donation form attached.

  • Donations will be tax deductible and can be made to multiple organizations. Donors will receive a receipt letter after the event.

  • One receipt will be issued to each individual making a donation. A list of the donors and their contact information will be provided to each nonprofit.

  • Donations by participating organizations to their own fund will not qualify for the match.

  • Organizations wanting to establish an endowed fund and be eligible for MatchDay 2020 must do so by June 26, 2020. The minimum gift to establish a fund is $10,000.
