In-Person Event Details

Donors can bring their donations to the Heaton Building in downtown Norton from 7 AM to 7 PM on June 22, 2022.

Participating agencies will have booths set up in the Heaton Building - this is a great opportunity to learn more about each organization!

Donation Information

The match pool will be $70,000 and is provided by Norton County Community Foundation and the Jim & Lida Sharp Family.

The match pool will be divided in proportion to the total amount raised on June 22, 2022.

Organizations with an endowed fund at NCCF will receive a 2:1 match, proportionate to the total amount raised.

Organizations and charitable projects without an endowed fund at NCCF will receive a 1:1 match, proportionate to the total amount raised.

Donations up to a maximum of $5,000 per organization per donor will be matched. (Donations greater than $5,000 will still be accepted.)
No organization will receive more than $35,000 (half of the pool) in matching funds.
Donations made to the organizations can be used for immediate needs or invested into the endowed fund. Matching dollars will go to the organization’s endowed fund held at the Norton County Community Foundation. (For organizations without an endowment, matching dollars can be used for their stated project/initiative.)

Donations are irrevocable. Checks must be made out to Norton County Community Foundation with the donation form attached.

Donations will be tax deductible and can be made to multiple organizations. Donors will receive a receipt letter after the event.

One receipt will be issued to each individual making a donation. A list of the donors and their contact information will be provided to each nonprofit.

Donations by participating organizations to their own fund will not qualify for the match.
