The Norton County Community Foundation was established in 1994 for the purpose of supporting local charitable activities in Norton County through endowments made to the foundation.
Since then, NCCF has grown in assets over $1.5 million with an additional $4.5 million in impact investment projects. Thanks to its generous donors, NCCF has reinvested more than $10 million into the community through grants supporting qualifying programs and projects.
All contributions to the foundation are available for qualifying projects and programs that promote the general welfare of the residents of Norton County, protect its rich heritage, and provide incentive for its continued growth.
Recommendations for the use of the funds is made by the Board of Directors, whose responsibility is to assure donors that the money and/or property entrusted to the Norton County Community Foundation is administered in a prudent and accountable manner.
By connecting donors to nonprofits, programs, and causes, Norton County Community Foundation aims to serve as a catalyst for positive change in Norton County - today and tomorrow.
NCCF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation eligible to receive tax deductible donations. Gifts may be for unrestricted use, allowing Foundation leadership to utilize the contribution for an area of greatest need, or gifts may be designated for a specific purpose.
"Dedicated to serving today for tomorrow, to make our community a better place in which to live."
