Grants Given Totaling $39,628.07:

• Norton Area Child Care Association (Sunshine Daycare) received a grant in 2015 to revitalize their building for continued service. 

• Almena Community Daycare Inc. received a grant in 2015 to open a home daycare for the Almena community.

• Almena Community Daycare Inc. received a grant in 2017 to recover from financial obstacles to continue providing service to the community. 

• Norton Area Child Care Association (Sunshine Daycare) received a grant in 2017 to purchase new awnings for their building. 

• Norton Area Child Care Association (Sunshine Daycare) participated in the 2017 Norton County Community Foundation Match Day to support ongoing programs.

• Norton Area Child Care Association (Sunshine Daycare) received a grant in 2018 to improve the safety and security of the center. 

• First United Methodist Church received a grant in 2018 to improve the play area for the children attending the Head Start Program. 

• Norton Area Child Care Association (Sunshine Daycare) participated in the 2018 Norton County Community Foundation Match Day to support ongoing programs.
