Community Memorial Fund
In their memory. For this community.
A Legacy of Love and Community
When we lose someone we love, we search for meaningful ways to honor their memory and keep their spirit alive.
The Community Memorial Fund offers a meaningful way to do just that—by creating a lasting tribute that benefits the community they loved.
By coming together through collective giving, we can ensure their legacy endures, supporting the future of Norton County for generations to come.
Established in loving memory of Mark Griffin by the Miller Family, April 2025.

A Lasting Tribute
During this difficult time, the Norton County Community Foundation would like to help make certain decisions a little easier.
The Community Memorial Fund was created to celebrate the lives of those with ties to Norton County - people who shaped our hometowns, our memories, and our hearts.
Through memorial gifts, we honor their legacy in a way that gives back.
Each contribution becomes part of something bigger: a permanent fund that supports local needs and strengthens our community for years to come.

How the Fund Works
Whether included in an obituary, shared at a service, or passed along by word of mouth, families and friends are encouraged to direct memorial gifts to the Community Memorial Fund in honor of their loved one.

These gifts join with others in a growing, permanent endowment.

From the earnings of this fund, year after year the NCCF Board of Directors will make annual grants for the betterment of Norton County.

Honoring Your Loved One
Each person honored through this fund will be named on this web page, if desired by the family and friends. As annual community grants are made, contributor information will be published here, as well as in local media and foundation materials.
