Match Day 2025

In-Person Event Details​

  • Donors can bring their donations to the Heaton Building in downtown Norton from 10 AM to 6 PM on June 25, 2025.

  • Participating organizations will have booths set up in the Heaton Building - this is a great opportunity to learn more about each organization!

CRAYONS FOR CLASSROOMS

Provides school supplies for ~450 Elementary Students and assists with tech fees for Junior High and Senior High Students at USD 211 (Norton).

In Norton County, DSNWK operates two group homes and the Frontier Developmental Center.

ECONOMIC & ENTREP. IMPACT FUND

This grant-making fund supports economic impact projects in Norton County, specifically projects promoting or supporting childcare and housing.

This fund supports charitable causes serving Almena and its surrounding area. Recent examples include the barn quilt murals on Main Street.

A leadership development program designed to educate, connect, and empower emerging and established leaders in Norton County.

Nonprofit that offers financial support to adoptive triads. On average, they award $7,350 per application, supporting mental health care of the birthparents and the bills of the adoptive family.

This fund provides support for the historic Heaton Building and Lyons House in downtown Norton, including maintenance, historical restoration and preservation, and gallery enhancements.

This fund provides grants to projects that promote Norton County as a place of doing business and raising families.

SECURE SEBELIUS LAKE

Secure Sebelius Lake Fund is participating in Match Day to raise the annual funds needed to maintain recreational water levels at Keith Sebelius Reservoir.

​Donation Information

  • The 2025 match pool is $100,000. Matching funds are generously provide by Jim & Lida Sharp and the Patterson Family Foundation. 

  • The match pool will be divided in proportion to the total amount raised on June 25, 2025. 

  • Donations up to $5,000 per donor per fund are eligible for a match. However, donations of all size will still be accepted!

  • Donations are irrevocable.

  • Donations will be tax deductible and can be made to multiple organizations. Donors of gifts $250 or more will receive a receipt letter after the event.

  • Checks must be made out to Norton County Community Foundation
