About Nex-Gen
Our mission is to educate northwest and north central Kansas students about local career opportunities by providing and supporting programs in career development, entrepreneurship, and internship. Through these efforts, we hope to foster a positive sense of community and encourage youth to remain or return home to prosper.
MatchDay Fundraising Project
Name of Project/Initiative: Youth Programs
Fundraising Goal: $5,000
Project Description: Funds will be used to expand the Life$kills and Young AmeriTowne of Kansas programs.
How the project will benefit Norton County
Both Life$kills and Young AmeriTowne are programs based in Norton County, but offer opportunities for students throughout Northwest and North Central Kansas. Over 2,500 students have participated since AmeriTowne was opened in the former Lenora High School Building.
