NCCF Property Investment Fund

About the Fund

stablished in 2024, this fund will award annual grants to NCCF Property Investments, Inc., which is the nonprofit that owns and operates the historic Heaton Building and Lyons House in downtown Norton. Funds will be used for maintenance, historical restoration and preservation, gallery enhancements, etc.

1. Preservation with Purpose

  • Ensures the long-term care and restoration of two historic structures that reflect Norton’s identity, culture, and heritage.

  • Helps protect these irreplaceable landmarks from neglect, deterioration, or demolition.

 

2. Steady, Dedicated Funding Stream

  • Creates a reliable source of income for ongoing maintenance, emergency repairs, or future renovation projects.

  • Can accept a wide variety of contributions: individual gifts, estate gifts, business sponsorships, or grants.

 

3. Community Engagement & Ownership

  • Gives donors and residents a tangible way to invest in preserving their shared history.

  • Enhances civic pride and increases public support through visibility and transparency.

 

4. Tax-Advantaged Giving

  • Donations to the fund are tax-deductible.

  • Encourages more giving, including from those looking for year-end charitable contribution opportunities.
